Chef Massimo Bottura returns to the UAE to host an exclusive dinner at his restaurant Torno Subito, at W Dubai – The Palm
Dubai, UAE, 9th December: Foodies from across the UAE can enjoy a mind blowing experience at W Dubai – The Palm and spend an unforgettable evening dining with one of the world’s greatest chefs, Chef Massimo Bottura.
On the 28th of December, diners will have the unprecedented opportunity to join Massimo himself, and watch him as he steps into the kitchen to prepare an authentic Italian menu, at his only restaurant outside of Italy, Torno Subito.
Located at the iconic W Dubai – The Palm, the hotel’s renowned Italian restaurant will see Massimo cooking up a mouth-watering eight course menu, inspired by Italian classics and some of his favorite childhood dishes. Known for blending Italian culinary tradition with an avant-garde sense of design and experimentation, the stunning menu has been created with Massimo’s praised contemporary flair.
Not only will guests be able to indulge in an array of delectable dishes carefully prepared by one of the world’s greatest chefs, diners will also experience Torno Subito’s playful 1960’s Italian Riveria vibe and take in the spectacular views of Dubai’s skyline.
Priced at AED 600 per person food only, or AED 775 per person with three glasses of selected grape, Massimo’s menu is sure to take guests on a culinary journey and create lifelong memories.
The exclusive menu will begin with Massimo’s ‘welcome from the kitchen’ in the form off Pumpkin Panzanella, followed by five delicious small plates, which include Wild Seabass Carpaccio, accompanied with fruit and vegetable salad and black caviar, the Torno Subito Focaccia served stracciatella cheese apple mustard and beef bresaola; Risotto made with turnip tops, mascarpone and smoked sardines and Modena Ribs, glazed with sweet Balsamic vinegar and smoked cauliflower.
The dishes continue with Massimo’s world-famous lasagna- the same recipe from Osteria Francescana, Massimo’s three Michelin- starred restaurant in Italy, which has also topped the World’s 50 Best Restaurants twice (2016 and 2018). For something sweet, diners can finish the evening with Massimo’s Sgroppino In Sorrento and his Panettone Soufflé – a Christmas Panettone Soufflé, featuring creamy vanilla ice cream and crispy lentils.
